Yanni Hufnagel is the assistant basketball coach at the University of Nevada in the men’s category. He developed an interest in basketball since he was young where he often read books about basketball coaching. Yanni Hufnagel attended Cornwell University where he became a basketball manager during his first year.

Yanni Hufnagel also worked as a broadcaster for his local public television where he used to call for games. He has so far gained a lot of reputation in basketball because of his skills and work rate which speaks for itself. Yanni Hufnagel studied at Cornwell University and attained a Bachelor’s of Science degree with a major in Industrial & Labor Relations. He also furthered his education whereby he majored in the field of Adult Higher Education and was awarded a Master’s Degree from Oklahoma.

Yanni Hufnagel has worked in many reputable schools and universities across the United States, thus, acquiring a lot of experience. He has been the Assistant Coach for Harvard Crimson where he worked under Tonny Amaker. He was also an Assistant coach for Alma Mater and Cornwell University. He also he has worked as a Graduate Assistant Coach in Oklahoma for the Sooners men’s basketball team.

He also has served in Vanderbilt Commodores under Coach Kevin Stallings. He currently serves at Nevada Wolf Pack Men’s basketball team where he is the assistant coach to Eric Musselman. One of his great success in coaching career was at Harvard where he saw them rise from position 90 to 30. He also gets the credit for nurturing Blake Griffin.

On top of being a world-class basketball coach, Yanni Hufnagel is also a reputable person when it comes to recruiting new and promising talents. He has experience when it comes to convincing upcoming basketball youngsters as well as nurturing them.

Yanni Hufnagel was born on August 26, 1982, in New York City, and has a Jewish background. His parents were Joni and Thierry Hufnagel. He later attended Scarsdale High School where he played Lacrosse for the school team and was the captain. Before he moved to Cornwell University, Yanni Hufnagel had also attended Pennsylvanian State University for one year. Due to his great experience and track record in the world of basketball, Yanni Hufnagel is certainly one of the best coaches.
